Merman Gallery artist Olya Avstreyh has been selected for the Tracey Emin Artist Residency (TEAR) 2025–26, a prestigious studio-based programme that supports emerging artists in developing their practice within a dynamic artistic community at TKE Studios.

Throughout the residency, Avstreyh will engage in set projects devised by Tracey Emin, Elissa Cray, and guest artists, allowing her to explore and refine her artistic language. With visits from influential figures – gallery directors, curators, collectors, and art historians – she will gain valuable mentorship and opportunities to present her work to broader audiences.
