Cyril Debon (born in 1987 in Bruges, France) is a French painter and ceramic artist. He lives and works in Aubervilliers. His work depicts a humorous and slightly absurd world of fauna and flora, where animals and plants—from amphibians to ducks, from baguettes to vegetables—playfully mirror the emotions and contradictions of human life. Through these figures, Cyril Debon explores everyday joys, disillusionments, and personal narratives, while paying tribute to the great tradition of Western painting, particularly the genres of landscape, still life, and genre scenes.
